What is the course like?
City Investment Training offers an intensive eight-week course designed to prepare aspiring professionals for careers in investment banking. The program is structured into two distinct phases, each focusing on essential skills and practical experiences crucial in the field.
The first four weeks concentrate on foundational Investment Banking Training. Participants delve into topics such as Accounting, Financial Modeling, Valuations, and Pitch Books, with daily lectures ranging from 2 to 5 hours. In the subsequent four weeks, the course transitions into a simulated Investment Banking internship experience. Here, students engage in drafting equity research reports and tackle advanced case studies in Private Equity, M&A, Venture Capital, and Valuation. These case studies are drawn from esteemed institutions like Harvard Business School, London Business School, Kellogg, and IESE, mirroring real-world challenges and preparing participants to excel in competitive environments within the finance industry.
